Analysis Request Procedure
Reception & Consultation
After receiving sample information via email inquiry, our representative will discuss details, schedules, and payment methods.
Sample Dispatch
Pack and dispatch the samples to our R&D Center according to the guidelines and precautions.
Precision Measurement
After inspecting the condition of the arrived samples, PESANA LAB experts will conduct ultra-high vacuum precision analysis.
Report & Administration
We deliver the analysis report and raw data, and issue supporting documents such as tax invoices upon request.
Sample Shipping Address (R&D Center)
For accurate and swift measurement, samples must be sent to the R&D Center address below.
(Sending to the head office address may risk loss and delay the measurement schedule.)

Sample Preparation & Analysis Guidelines
Sample Specifications & Information
- For UPS / IPES / REELS measurements, samples must be prepared not to exceed 1 × 1 cm in size.
- To accurately estimate measurement time and pricing, please provide the number of samples, measurement method, and thickness as accurately as possible.
Sample Packaging & Dispatch
- To minimize errors during sample transfer, samples must be sealed and dispatched in vacuum or nitrogen packaging.
- We strongly recommend preparing samples close to the analysis schedule to minimize contamination from atmospheric exposure.
Substrate & Conductivity
- Verifying sample conductivity is essential for smooth electron supply to the surface. (Recommended substrates: ITO and metal substrates)
- For samples with poor electron supply, neutralization via a Charge Neutralizer is possible during XPS analysis, but please note that minor deviations may occur.
